Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Center: SLECC Colombo

The Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre (SLECC) is a professional convention centre, located in Colombo. It provides a 3,700 square metres (40,000 sq ft) air-conditioned, multi-functional exhibition space for hosting events, trade-shows, seminars, conferences and meetings.

The Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre started operation in 1994 under the approval of the Board of Investment (BOI). It is an investment project of the Pico Far East Holdings Limited to build exhibition and convention in Sri Lanka, which spearheaded by Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism.

Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Centre is the only custom built Exhibition Centre in the country that could accommodate a maximum number of stalls under one roof, in one area. Strategically located in the City Centre of Colombo with the serenity of the Beira Lake complementing its scenic location, SLECC is only short walk from most leading hotels and the commercial & financial district with only 200m from the country’s highest building – the World Trade Centre, Fort bus stop & railway station and facilitates easy access to the general visitor in many ways.

The multi-purpose fully air-conditioned SLECC is set to meet the demands of the most exacting business community with it’s totally column free layout of 4,000 sq.m. (Approximately 40,000 sq.ft). It is an ideal venue for a multitude of events, viz. Exhibitions, Conventions, Product Launches, Award Ceremonies, Meetings/Get-togethers, Musical concerts, Weddings etc.
