EXCO Daegu: Daegu Exhibition & Convention Center
EXCO, located in the Daegu Distribution Complex, is a multi-purpose space used for exhibitions, art shows, performances, and business.
It is the home of large conventions like SMK and EPEK. It offers over 22 159 meters of exhibit space. a grand ballroom for high class events, a 4,000-seat convention hall, a 1,300-seat auditorium, and a total of 23 conference rooms.
EXCO provides access to more than 1400 underground parking spaces. The first 15 minutes of parking is free.
Opened in April 2001, EXCO, already a state of the art convention and exhibition facility, is entering a phase of extensive expansion that was completed in 2011. By then EXCO will comprise 24,000-square meter-exhibition space, convention hall with 4,000 seats, auditorium with 1,600 seats and 34 conference rooms.
Strategically located at the center of Daegu Distribution Complex, EXCO provides an easy access to the Daegu International Airport, Kyungbu and Daegu railroads, the main highways and express train station.

EXCO actively plans, hosts, and nurtures exhibitions for new growth engine industries, such as the water, advanced health care, future automobiles, smart energy, and robot industries, that are considered special industries in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do. To enhance and globalize exhibitions, we plan and host about 30 annual exhibitions. We organize various events, from nationally recognized exhibitions, such as the International Green Energy Expo & Conference, International Fire & Safety Expo Korea, and Daegu International Future Auto Expo, to newer ones, including the Steel and Metal Korea and International Safety & Security Expo Korea.

Since hosting the 2001 JCI Asia and the Pacific Conference, we have successfully held numerous international events, including the 2005 APEC Ministerial Meeting, 2011 World Championships in Athletics, 2013 World Energy Congress in Daegu, 2015 World Water Forum in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do, and 2019 IBRO World Congress of Neuroscience. We have also been preparing for the 21st century’s new industries’ conferences, namely, the PV Market Insights (PVMI), H2 Market Insights (H2MI), International Water Resources Association (IWRA), and International Water Industry Conference (IWIC), as well as international events, such as the 2022 International Robot Olympiad (IRO) and 2024 World Biomaterials Congress (WBC).
