Venues range from an intimate 10-seat function room to the grand Pavilion which can comfortably cater for 4,500 cocktail guests. The SCC is spread over four main levels with multiple venues, offers ample secure parking and a highly skilled and experienced team.

Sandton Convention Centre opened in 2000 as a contemporary venue, custom-designed with state-of-the-art facilities, technologically advanced solutions and a professional team that is committed to streamlined and value-added service. We have moved with the times and have exceeded the highest expectations set by our most demanding clients and visitors. Sandton Convention Centre has been host to a wide spectrum of global and local conferences, events and summits of all sizes and stature, catering for diverse clients including Heads of State, leaders of industry, large corporate groups, government institutions, associations and industry bodies, award ceremonies, performing arts, food and drink festivals, financial institutions and many more.

Beautiful Spaces:
SCC is a beautiful, modern, 7-storey building with 22,000 square metres of convention, exhibition and special event space. We have the ability to stage multiple events simultaneously on four levels and up to 10,000 visitors can be accommodated at any one time.
Our capacity range is vast, ranging from a 10-seater function room to the Pavilion, which can accommodate 5,000 visitors, the Ballroom that can hold up to 1,500 banquet guests, as well as two exhibition levels of 11,000 square metres and 13 meeting rooms of varying sizes. We also offer comfortable and convivial spaces to socialise, network, relax and be entertained.

Getting to Sandton Convention Centre is a breeze
- 15 minutes by rapid-rail Gautrain from OR Tambo International Airport to central Sandton. The rapid-rail Sandton station is within walking distance from the SCC.
- 35 minutes by road from the airport via courtesy bus, hired car or airport-approved taxi, bus and shuttle operators between Sandton and the airport terminals.
