Dogs & Fun Dortmund 2024:
From May 24-26 2024 Messe Dortmund will be transformed into a giant dog paradise.
Breed presentations, a large show program, numerous join-in activities and sales booths with all dog-related products at low trade fair prices will ensure fun and variety.
Service providers, specialized media, dealers and breeders present themselves with their products, information and animal demonstrations.
As a family-friendly public fair with experience character the Dogs & Fun in Dortmund invites to stroll and inform.

The Dogs & Fun
Visitors to Dogs & Fun can look forward to a spectacular program: The focus will be on the exciting pedigree dog competitions, where dogs from over 240 different breeds will vie for places on the winners’ podium.
Variety is also offered by the supporting and show program: In addition to the fast-paced Frisbee show, there will be the German Para-Agility Championship, four-legged TV stars or the Helfer-auf-vier-Pfoten, among others.

Purebred dog competitions
- Among the highlights of the fair are the major pedigree dog competitions of the Frühjahrssieger & Int. Exhibition. Dogs from over 240 breeds are expected in total.
Information stands
- In Hall 5 you will find the information stands of breeders and clubs. Learn all about the breeds of dogs. They differ in size, appearance and especially their special character and temperament.
Show program
- The all-day show program is also worth seeing. Starting with the rapid qualifying runs for the Agility World Championship, the spectacular KONG Frisbee show, and much more.
Presentation stage
- The various dog breeds will be presented on the presentation stage in Hall 6. In addition, you can attend informative lectures on the subject of dogs here.
Dog trainer advice
- If you want to get active with your dog, our clubs offer all known and modern sports from agility to rally obedience and will be happy to advise you at the information booths in Hall 5. In addition, you can get active yourself with your dog.
Dog sports
- In the action area in Hall 5, visitors can try out various sports under the guidance of dog trainers. These also advise on the various sports from agility to dog dancing to the new trend sport Hoopers.
Mixed breed competition
- You are convinced that your mongrel is the most beautiful? Then you should enter him in the mixed breed competition.
Health check
- At the stands of our Premium Partners in Hall 4, you can have a free dental check (Royal Canin) and health check (animonda) performed for your dog by experienced veterinarians.
Dog Diving
- A dog jumps into the water – this simple principle is the basis for dog diving. Required for the practice of the sport is a ramp and, of course, a pool of water. Also, a dog that is ready to jump into the cool water.
Helfer auf vier Pfoten
