Automation Expo 2024: About
Automation Expo 2024, the brainchild of the visionary Dr. M. Arokiaswamy started in 2002 as a biennial Automation exhibition which attracted the top Global Automation diaspora to the Indian shores. Since 2011, this has become an annual Automation extravaganza. It has become Asia’s leading Automation & Instrumentation exhibition and a must-visit for any stakeholder in the Automation industry.
Now in the 17th year of a successful journey, Automation Expo has believed in the true potential of India and contributed hugely through uncanny foresight and sheer hard work. Automation Expo has made India a global marketplace for the Automation industry.
Each industry in India strives to acquire technology based on automation to participate in global competition. Automation Expo provides a platform for the industry to achieve their automation goals.
Our first virtual expo was held on 22nd to 25th September 2021 and thank our Board of Governors, Exhibitors, Speakers, Delegates and visitors who have made our first virtual expo a roaring success.

About Organizer: IED Communications
IED Communications Ltd is not only the owner of Industrial Automation monthly (Magazine) but is also the organizer of India’s biggest and Asia’s 2nd largest exhibition for the automation industry – Automation Expo (www.automationindiaexpo.com). Together with the magazine, the organization has been in the business of promoting the automation industry in India for over nearly 4 decades now and has played a pivotal role in the evolution of the industry in India, first through the Industrial Automation magazine and later the exhibition.
Our First virtual Expo “Automation Expo Connect” was held with over 100 exhibitors participating in the event, with booths from 6 countries in 4 Exhibition Halls with power-packed conferences. The Automation Expo Connect hosted 4 Conferences viz – The Experts talk on the Future of Automation, IIoT Conference, Cyber Security Conference, and Factory Automation Conclave. For the first time we had 41 Technical Presentations along with 12 Industries 4.0 Presentations.
