China Yiwu Cultural & Tourism Products Trade Fair: About

China Yiwu Cultural & Tourism Products Trade Fair (short for “Yiwu Cultural Fair“), founded in 2006 and upgraded to a national exhibition sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province and hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the People’s Government of Yiwu City in 2010. It has been listed as one of the key brand exhibitions supported during the “12th Five-Year Plan” and “13th Five-Year Plan”. The Travel Expo was founded in 2009. At the opening ceremony of the first and eighth Travel Expo, the National Tourism Administration awarded Yiwu “National Tourism Commodity Research and Development Center” and “China International Business Tourism Destination” respectively.

In 2019, under the background of the great reform of the national cultural and tourism integration institutions, the cultural trade fair and the tourism fair were held at the same time. In 2020, in order to promote the new exploration of the deep integration of “culture plus tourism“, the exhibition was renamed “China Yiwu Cultural and Tourism Products Trade Fair” (hereinafter referred to as “Cultural and Tourism Products Fair“). In 2021, in order to accelerate the construction of a new development pattern and comply with the development trend of digitalization, networking and intelligence, adhere to the requirements of the new development stage, strive to become a high-end stage to display the achievements of national cultural and tourism development and the preferred platform for docking global trade in cultural products and tourism goods. Give full play to the role of the exhibition as a platform to promote product trading, project display, resource sharing and information exchange, and promote the construction of a new pattern of development in which both domestic and international circles promote each other.
