CODISSIA, an ISO 9001-2008 organization, established in 1969 as a Small Industries Association, is one of the largest association for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in South India. It has a membership of more than 1700MSMEs from different sectors. We are a nonprofit organization, working for the Industrial development and economic growth and prosperity of this region. The Association has made a significant contribution towards building a strong and a stable industrial belt in this region and creating awareness among MSME entrepreneurs. Besides assisting in grievance redressal through effective representations, CODISSIA focuses on the development-oriented activities such as conducting series of seminars, Training Programmes, Study tours, Delegation visits to Foreign Countries, Exhibitions, Industrial Trade Fairs, Industrial visits, Buyer Seller Meets, Guidance on Exports Imports etc. so as to develop and create awareness among industrial entrepreneurs. CODISSIA is member in Advisory and Consultative Committees in Government Departments at the District, State and National level. CODISSIA is a member in Prime Minister’s Innovation Council and the National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Industries (NI-MSME), Hyderabad,an organization of the Ministry of MSME,National Board of MSME, Central Board for Workers Education, Advisory Committee in Department of Labour, Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee and Regional Advisory Committee for GST, Govt. of India. It is also a member in the Regional Board for ESIC (TN), Single Window Committee, Task Force – UYEGP and NEEDS of Government of Tamilnadu.
