Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center is a large-scale modern exhibition venue invested and built by the Ningbo Municipal Government. It is the core exhibition area of Ningbo International Trade and Exhibition Center.
It is located in the center of Ningbo Sixth District and is the core area of Ningbo East New City Business District.
The transportation is convenient, only 5 kilometers away from the entrance of Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo and Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou expressways; It is 18 kilometers away from Beilun Port, the second largest port in China; it is directly connected to the Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge, and it is only a 2-hour drive from the Chinese metropolis Shanghai.
Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center covers an area of 44.4 hectares, with a total construction area of 140,000 square meters.
It is mainly composed of 8 surrounding conventional exhibition halls and ten major buildings such as administrative building and conference building. It can provide nearly 5,000 international standard booths.
Each exhibition hall is independent of each other, but also connected with each other, forming a functional pattern that can be divided and combined.
It can meet all kinds of exhibition activities of large, medium and small sizes.
There is a large exhibition square built in front of the main entrance of the south gate of Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center. On the central axis of the square stands a 72-meter-high arrow-shaped sign tower, known as the “Sacred Needle of Dinghai”. The magic needle shoots straight into the sky, complementing the bow-shaped shape of the main exhibition hall, indicating that the development of Ningbo Convention and Exhibition Center will take advantage of the momentum.
As a window to showcase Ningbo’s economy, culture, history and development level, Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center has successfully held more than 1,200 domestic and foreign exhibitions since it was completed and put into use in 2002, including the Zhejiang Investment and Trade Fair, China International Daily Consumer Goods The successful holding of large-scale well-known exhibitions such as the Expo, Ningbo International Fashion Festival, China Food Expo, Higher Education Instrument and Equipment Expo, and China Pharmaceutical Machinery Expo has attracted great attention in the industry and has become a popular exhibition hall in second-tier exhibition cities.
Since 2004, Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center has taken the lead in winning the title of “The Best Exhibition Venue in China’s Convention and Exhibition Industry”. It has also successively won the title of “China’s Top Ten Outstanding Convention and Exhibition Centers”, “The Exhibition Hall Most Attracted by Exhibition People”, and “National “Top Ten Convention and Exhibition Centers”, “Best Management Award for China Convention and Exhibition Industry Exhibition Hall”, “Best Venue Award for China Convention and Exhibition Industry” and a series of honorary titles. The Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center is the core area of the business exhibition area in the eastern new city of Ningbo.
