SALIMATECH Brno 2025: About
The new concept of food fairs under the SALIMATECH Brno 2025 brand brings a perfect overview of Czech and foreign food suppliers, state-of-the-art technologies for food production, equipment for their processing, equipment and equipment of gastro operations, needs for milling, bakery and confectionery, wholesale and food distribution.
SALIMATECH is intended only for professional visitors and takes place every two years. At the same time, the fair is a platform for the exchange of experience in the introduction of innovations in the food industry.
The SALIMATECH fair will be complemented by the EmbaxPrint International Packaging and Printing Fair. This is a suitable connection, because a high percentage of the production of the packaging industry goes to the food industry.
For the first time ever, this food expo will be open only to trade visitors, which will bring much more space for networking, highlighting the latest technologies and discussions with experts. The new focus is adapted to this. “In previous seasons, the exhibition area was roamed around, in addition to trade visitors, by end customers wanting to buy foods, but in the upcoming season, the expo will have a purely B2B arrangement. This concept, which is in demand by exhibitors, deserved a new name SALIMATECH instead of the original name SALIMA,“ said Tomáš Moravec, CEO of BVV Trade Fairs Brno.
All major food industry sectors will be found in one place
The new concept under the SALIMATECH Brno 2025 brand includes not only the aforementioned modern technologies for food production and automation in the food industry. Specialized fields that are traditionally part of food fairs also have their place here. The needs of the milling, baking and confectionery industry, food and beverage processing equipment, equipment for catering and hotels, and technology for the wine industry will be represented. There will also be a range of foods, ingredients and beverages with a focus on wholesale.
New features include SALIMA TALKS expert conference and SALIMATECH Digital portal
In addition to the classical expo, which is in demand primarily for the opportunity to meet customers in person, companies can also use a completely new form of promotion in the online environment. The SALIMA TALKS expert conference will offer a link between standard and online participation in a livestream from a modern virtual studio. The SALIMATECH Digital portal will also be newly launched, which will enable the presentation of companies in a virtual environment in the form of individualized showrooms. “The advantage of these new online platforms is the opportunity to reach customers who cannot attend the expo in person. At the same time, it is expanding their presentation space beyond the standard expo format,” Moravec added.
