Organizers:
Yuva Udaan Foundation is working for the last 4 years on organic farming, increasing the income of farmers and marketing their products. Along with this, efforts are being made to provide new technology, organic farming training and more benefits at less cost to many farmers of the area through Farmer Producer Organization (FPO).
Running Jan Jagran Abhiyan for Environment and Water Management and Watershed Program. Under the Capacity Building Program, NABARD organizes organic training tours in collaboration with the organization for marginal and small farmers.
Along with this, the organization is continuously working to connect the children of poor, working and farmer class with education, send the children who have dropped out of school to school again and for their all round development.
Bharatiya Kisan Sangh is the only national level organization in the country working in the interest of farmers, whose work is spread all over the country. International thinker, farmer and labor leader Shri Dattopant Thegdi visited the entire country to know the problems of farmers and after that, along with 640 farmer representatives from all over the country, established the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh on 4 March 1979 in Kota city of Rajasthan.
For farmers, a nationalist non-political organization run by farmers that is activist based, not leader based.
Since its inception, in the last 40 years, it has become the largest organization raising the voice of farmers’ rights.
