Jagd & Angeln Leipzig 2026: Exhibition for Hunting, Fishing and BBQ
East and Central Germany’s largest trade fair of its kind offers an extensive range of hunting weapons, optics, ammunition, hunting knives, hunting equipment and hunting grounds supplies, hunting dog accessories, hunting and fishing clothing as well as fishing equipment, fishing lures and special accessories for a wide variety of target fish and fishing methods, boats, cooling, storage and Zerwirk equipment, barbecue and smoking technology and accessories and much more.

Hunting:
The Hunting Experience combines tradition, an understanding of nature, and state-of-the-art technology to create an authentic trade fair experience for all those interested in hunting. Experience exciting practical demonstrations, high-quality expert information, and a strong community focused on hunting, forestry, and dog breeding.
Fishing:
The fishing area offers a wide variety of topics, experts such as Horst Hennings, Veit Wilde, Luca Heuer, and Ingolf Augustin, as well as hands-on activities focused on nature, water conservation, and modern fishing techniques. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, you’ll discover new products, sophisticated techniques, current trends, and exciting experiences for the whole family.
Dogs:
The dog section offers emotional experiences, exciting demonstrations, and valuable knowledge for all dog lovers – from family pets to specialized working dogs. A diverse program awaits you, featuring experts such as Tolga Mercan, Jennifer Tschipang, and Jennifer Falke , live training sessions, and interactive learning opportunities.
Enjoyment:
The culinary area transforms the fair into a gastronomic experience, featuring regional specialties, live cooking demonstrations, and creative game cuisine. Visitors can sample, discover, and experience how game, fish, and high-quality ingredients are prepared in modern and delicious ways.
Animals:
Animals are an integral part of life with and in nature. In addition to the 150 dogs at the fair, we will be showcasing draft horses at the timber hauling championships, sheep, alpacas, and the largest falconry displays in Eastern Germany. We will explain the conservation efforts for beavers, wildcats, lynxes, dormice, and wolves. At various interactive and explanatory stations, you will find many more presentations about our native wildlife.
Outdoor:
Being outdoors is more than just leisure – it means passion, adventure, slowing down, and a connection to nature. Besides hunting and fishing, it also includes hiking, trekking, canoeing, camping, van life, bushcraft, and much more. The market:
- The region around Saxony / Thuringia is characterized by a diverse cultural landscape. The green lungs of the region are their vast forests.
- The goal is to provide stable and productive mixed forests, which are natural, and are naturally rejuvenated. An essential prerequisite for a successful forest conversion is the regulation of game reserves to an ecologically and economically viable game density. The following are particularly hunted: red, muffle, dam, black and roe deer.
- Fishing is a popular leisure activity in Saxony. A not insignificant proportion compared to inland fishing is caught in the fishing industry. The region is inviting by a large lake landscape.
