The Manila Foods and Beverages Expo (MAFBEX) stands as the country’s largest and most prominent food and beverage (F&B) trade show. Year after year, this highly anticipated event draws thousands of visitors — from industry professionals and entrepreneurs to food enthusiasts and content creators — to the World Trade Center Metro Manila, all eager to explore a world of flavors under one roof.

In its 20th edition held on June 10 – 14, 2026, MAFBEX celebrated nearly two decades of championing culinary excellence through exciting events, competitions, and showcases. This year’s festivities not only impressed visitors, exhibitors, and industry leaders, but also set the stage for an even grander milestone — the 20th anniversary in 2026.

Highlights of MAFBEX 2026:

MAFBEX COOKS: At MAFBEX 2026, the spotlight will be turned on at a handful of renowned local and international chefs who will be showcasing their recipes and insights in the food and beverage industry which is through a unique fusion of an entertaining and compressive cooking demos.

HOME CHEF COMPETITION: The 5th MAFBEX Culinary Cup: Home Chef Edition is an exciting event highlight that provides opportunities to aspiring cooks that have no formal training. Participants are put through a series of challenges that fuse both creativity and intuitive approaches in creating
their signature masterpiece.

MAFBEX TALKS: Another MAFBEX staple, the MAFBEX Talks are the Young Hoteliers’ Exposition’s (YHE) accredited seminars for people who are interested in F&B industry. The topics range from the latest F&B trends to comprehensive talks that captivate the minds of the attendees, MAFBEX Talks are free of charge.

MAFBEX SCOOP: MAFBEX Scoop, showcased the best and most inventive products from the food and beverage industry, both edible and non-edible.

BUSINESS MATCHING: A free service which assists participating companies and trade show visitors who seek business  connections and investment opportunities with ease and accuracy.

YOUNG HOTELIERS’ EXPOSITION (YHE) CULINARY COMPETITION: A highlight of MAFBEX that caters to promising and innovative students. The yearly competition allows these students to think outside the box and create timeless fine dining proposals.

BREW DISTRICT: A new addition to MAFBEX, visitors have a wide variety of international and local brands that specialize in coffee and tea at The Brew District area. Equipment and other specialty resources are also available.

Philippine National Coffee Competitions: Licensed by World Coffee Events, the Philippine National Coffee Competitions (PNCC) is a premier gathering of the local coffee community, celebrating excellence, skill, and innovation in the industry. It serves as a platform to empower, nurture, and elevate Philippine coffee professionals through friendly yet highly competitive events, including the Philippine National Barista Competition and Philippine National Brewers Cup which will take place this year on MAFBEX 2025.

YOUNG FARMERS CHALLENGE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (DA): Spotlighting innovative agripreneurs and organic producers who showcase sustainable products and fresh business ideas, reflecting the growing passion of the youth in shaping the future of Philippine agriculture.

SEAFOOD VILLAGE BY THE BUREAU OF FISHERIES AND AQUATIC RESOURCES (BFAR): An impressive display of premium local seafood, highlighting the richness of the country’s aquatic resources and promoting responsible and sustainable fisheries among Filipino producers.

DEPARTMENT OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY (DTI) – MIMAROPA PAVILION: Highlighting a diverse range of regional delicacies and artisanal products, showcasing local entrepreneurs and reinforcing the region’s commitment to promoting proudly Filipino-made goods.
