Experience organic food in its purest form at the world’s leading organic trade fair in Nuremberg. Since 1990, BIOFACH has been the can’t-miss destination for pioneers and newcomers who share their passion for organic food and the organic market and want to exchange ideas with like-minded people along the entire value chain. From February 10 – 13, 2026, the largest organic food trade fair will once again open its doors at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre and bring together exhibitors and visitors from the entire organic and natural cosmetics sector, with regional, national and international stakeholders. A diverse trade fair programme and a wide range of products invite visitors to use all their senses to explore the world of organic food, by seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and feeling. At BIOFACH Germany 2026, you will experience a lively market of opportunities and a trade fair packed full of ideas, inspiration and enjoyment.

Success story of BIOFACH

BIOFACH takes place for the 37th year in succession in 2026 and can look back on an outstanding success story. The exhibition was founded by Hagen Sunder, Hubert Rottner and Jürgen Ries and it all began with 197 exhibitors in the Ludwigshafen Stadthalle in 1990. Some 2,500 visitors attended the “1st European Trade Fair for Organic Food and Natural Products” at that time. The exhibition was organized in Nuremberg for the first time in 1999 and brought together as many as 1,276 exhibitors and more than 15,384 visitors. 2001 the founders decided to put the organization of BIOFACH into the hands of NürnbergMesse. Since then BIOFACH has developed into the World´s Leading Trade Fair for Organic Food and is firmly established. In 2007, the natural cosmetics segment was separated from the trade fair and successfully organised as the International Trade Fair for Natural Cosmetics and Personal Care parallel to BIOFACH for 17 years. From 2025, the natural cosmetics and personal care section was once again integrated into the centre of BIOFACH.

The Worlds’ Leading Trade Fair for Organic Food and for natural cosmetics, is an important business event, an emotional event for the sector, and both a get-together and an opportunity for positioning. Not for nothing is the exhibition duo the annual platform for:
