Coex Convention & Exhibition Center (COEX) located in Samseong-dong of Gangnam-gu district, Seoul, is one of South Korea’s convention and exhibition centers.

Coex is serviced by Samseong Station on line 2 and Bongeunsa Station on line 9 of the Seoul Subway.

The 836-meter (914-yard) section of sidewalk along Yeongdong Boulevard from exit No. 5 of Samseong Station on Seoul Subway Line 2 to exit No. 7 of Bongeunsa Station on Seoul Subway Line 9, outside Convention & Exhibition Center and ASEM Tower is designated as a smoke-free zone by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

Coex Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul is Korea’s venue of choice. Established in 1979, Coex provides more than 20 years of experience and know-how in the local MICE industry. The center is conveniently located in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul’s business district, and hosts a yearly average of 200 exhibitions and over 2,000 separate meetings and events. COEX’s meetings facilities consist of 4 main exhibition halls and 54 dividable meeting rooms. On-site accommodations include three 5-star hotels, Asia’s largest shopping mall, three multinational office skyscrapers, two top theaters, and the city’s only airport terminal. Coex’s infrastructure ensures that all your needs – be they business, entertainment, shopping, or culture – are met right here under one roof.

Coex is comprised of four stories above ground with 36,007㎡ of exhibition space and a floor area of 460,000㎡. Our four exhibition halls can be partitioned into 9 separate spaces and 100 meeting room spaces can accommodate larger meetings or banquets, or can be divided into smaller rooms for any type of functions up to 7,000 people. With over 30 years of accumulated building management system and the state-of-the-art equipment, our award-winning facility, Coex, is your preferred venue delivering extraordinary experiences for all types of events.

With its expertise in venue management and active promotion of the exhibition industry, Coex has been trusted to foster multiple local and international exhibition centers over the years. Currently, Coex manages the Changwon Exhibition and Convention Centre (CECO) in Gyeongnam province, and the World Trade Centre Binh Duong New City Expo in Vietnam with Becamex IDC.

Moreover, Coex was the first Korean organization to obtain UFI certificate from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry in 2020 after demonstrating its ability to host world-class exhibitions. As the Korea’s leading exhibition organizer, Coex annually organizes more than 25 exhibitions in Korea and abroad, including China, Indonesia and Vietnam.
