Sandton Convention Centre was developed by Tsogo Sun and is managed by Southern Sun Hotel Interests. Tsogo Sun is the outcome of a unique partnership between Southern Sun Hotels and Tsogo Sun Investments, a black empowerment group representing black business, labour movements and various women's groups.

Southern Sun Hotel Interests is the largest hotel operator in Africa, with a successful chain of 79 hotels providing 13 400 lettable rooms in prime sites throughout Southern Africa. This makes Sandton Convention Centre a wholly owned private concern. Managed by Southern Sun Hotel Interests.

Highly specialized and experienced, the Sandton Convention centre is a 12 storey building and is the most upcoming exhibition and convention centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. Multi-functional and international by standards, the Sandton Convention Centre provides more than 22,000 m2 of exhibition, convention and event spacefor its exhibitors.

It also comprises of a pavilion, a ballroom, around 13 meeting rooms, and two exhibition levels with an integrated floor space of 11,000 m2. Standing tall as the most technologically advanced convention centre of South Africa, the Sandton Convention Centre provides accommodation facilities, parking facilities, cutting-edge technology, state-of-the-art facilities and is surrounded by shopping malls, entertainment centres and recreational complexes.
