The Textile Association of India (TAI) is one of the largest bodies of textile professionals and technocrats in the world were formed in the year 1939. The vast and rich experience of seventy years, added with the membership of over 22000 members and 27 units spread across the country has given an edge over the others. Periodically it organizes seminars, conferences, workshops and exhibitions for the textile and all the allied machinery industry for the benefit of textile industry.
The latest TAI conference 'Global Textiles - Business process optimization' on 24th and 25th of January, 2010 would endorse professionals, technocrats and investors from the textile industry to address their views on the topic of business optimization and to exchange innovative ideas to bring a radical change for globalization. It will also prompt to devise new strategies for the textile industry and to assay their goals to meet the competitive world of international textiles. The conference is being backed by the Office of the Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, GOI, and Govt. of Madhya Pradesh. It is also supported by M.P., State Textile Dept, Handloom, and Khadi Udyog.
